IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To our surprise Jackson Christopher arrived by cesarean at 7:33pm weighing in at 6 lbs and 19 1/2 inches long. We are all shocked, but soooo excited. Check back tomorrow for more details and pics of our precious little boy.
Update
I have an epidural now so everything is a lot better. :) I am 3cm and we are just waiting for Madison to make an appearance.
So far
As of 9:30 this morning I am 2-3 cm and still 50% effaced. They have started the pitocin and my contractions are close and they HURT. I asked for my epidural and they asked me to try to wait a little longer. Hopefully I can have it soon because I don't like pain. :)

Last Office Visit
Today I had my last office visit before we FINALLY meet Madison. Dr. Barron said that I am still 50% effaced and 2 cm. I am scheduled to be induced Monday the 25th at 6:30am. We can't wait!

False Alarm
Early Monday morning around 3:00am we made a trip to the hospital, but unfortunately they sent us back home around 7:30am. My contractions were close enough together, but not long enough in duration. I have dilated 2 cm and still 50% effaced. My normal office visit is Tuesday so maybe we will make some more progress by then. :)

36 week check-up
Today was the first exam I had to measure my cervix and it was quite an experience. From what Dr. Barron could tell I haven't dilated anymore than 1/2 cm. Madison is now measuring exactly 36 weeks instead of a week ahead. Her heart rate was strong and now we are only waiting for her arrival. Hopefully by next week I will have started to dilate some more. 40 weeks is a long time to be pregnant. I am ready for this stage to be over and raising Madison to begin. :) Check back next week to see if we have made any progress.
