Jackson's first laugh.
Jackson laughed for the first time last night. (Although I am sorta sad because it shows he prefers his Daddy.) I was holding him and Wayne had just gotten home from work and was changing out of his uniform. I took Jackson to the office so he could say hey to his Daddy. Wayne looked at him and said "hey Jackson" in the voice he uses. Jackson grinned and let out his "huh" laugh. It was TOO cute!!!

My 2 month checkup
Our little man is doing great. He had to get 4 shots and let us all know that he was extremely unhappy with us. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz., 21 1/2 inches long, and his head is 14 3/4. He is in the 0% for his weight and 10th percentile for his height and HC. They changed his formula again and upped his dose of Zantac. The Dr. called him a little spitfire and firecracker because he never stops moving. He was up for several hours after the Dr. visit just talking and kicking and slept great last night.

Jackson's first cold
We made a trip to the dr. today because Jackson has had a stuffy nose. Dr. Bashinsky confirmed that it is just a cold. There isn't much we can do for it. They weighed him again and he is already up to 7.2 from last week. He will be a little piggy before we know it.

2 week check-up
Jackson had his 1st check today. He weighs 6lbs. 9oz., 19.5 inches long, and his HC is 14 inches. He is in the 10th percentile for his weight and he is in the 25th percentile for his head and length . Poor little thing had to have his foot pricked and it was quite traumatic for him, Mommy and Daddy. Dr. Bashinsky told us to switch his formula to Enfamil ProSobee and he has to take Zantac for reflux. Hopefully it makes him feel and sleep a lot better. He has his next check-up at six weeks and this will be very traumatic for the whole family because he will have to get two shots. Mommy is not looking forward to this at all.
