Our little Chatterbox

Jackson was so funny last night. We were in the office looking at pictures of him on the computer. I would hold him up in the air and lean him in toward the wall, which was casting his shadow on the wall. As I’d lean him in toward the wall and his shadow would get smaller and darker, he’d laugh. It was SOOO cute!! Daycare said yesterday he was just laughing and talking up a storm. They said it’s funny that such a loud voice can come from such a small person. When Ms. Tara walked in this morning to daycare Jackson was at the opposite end of the room in Infant 3, where he goes until Ms. Tara arrives. There were about 4 infants in there. As soon as she walked in from the other side of the room she said “where’s my baby?” and then went straight to Jackson and kidnapped him out of the swing. I just love that. When I asked her yesterday if Jackson had been talking/screaming she said “Oh, GIRL, yesterday I was changing Calum’s diaper and had Jackson in an exersaucer. I all the sudden heard this loud screaming and I turned around thinking- ‘what is that?’ and realized it was Jackson playing! I said Jackson, am I not talking to you enough? And he just kept talking/screaming at the toys on the exersaucer.” He also did this last night while we were eating dinner. It’s nice he can entertain himself now when we eat---- although he doesn’t always want to. He’s also still sleeping through the night- I had to wake him up this morning at 6:20 to get ready for daycare. He was turned to the side and his legs were all curled up against the bumper pad. It actually took several minutes to wake him up- he’d just stretch and squeal and grunt and kept his eyes closed. Have I mentioned he’s cute?
